Thank You
I’m so glad that you have paid the The Sounding Board a visit. There are so many things that you can do in your online life, and so I’m thankful that you’ve devoted some of that time to reading along here. Please, make yourself at home and feel free to interact in any way with what I share here.
What to expect
The Sounding Board aims to be a space where the arts (with a primary focus on English literature) can be shared, celebrated and discussed. Some of what I write here directly links arts and culture to Christianity but much of it is a straightforward celebration of the common grace of beautiful and challenging things. This is a site where I hope everyone, regardless of faith commitments or otherwise, can enjoy the true good of what artistic expression brings to our lives. I post reviews, opinion-pieces, literary criticism and (occasionally) original poetry. The vast majority of what I post is available free of charge for two weeks after its publication and can be commented on by all, but the archive is open for paid subscribers only.
Why subscribe?
Subscription does a few things for me and for you. For subscribers, it provides full access to the publication archives and occasional paid subscriber only posts. I also hope to have some periodic thank you gifts for paid subscribers which I will roll out at some stage this year.
From my point of view, your paid subscription will help me to devote more and more time to my vocation as a writer - allowing me to deepen and broaden what is shared on this site. There is absolutely no pressure to become a paid subscriber, but if you would like to financially support my work I would be most grateful.
The button below will show you what subscription options are available, paid and free.
