Thanks, Karen. I really appreciate your encouragement. Thanks too for your insights on Scrooge. The Evangelical Imagination is such a helpful piece of work: someone asked me about it last week as a Christmas gift for a loved one and it received a very enthusiastic ‘yes’ from me!

Dear Andrew, I so loved your other beautiful, heart wrenching, heart elevating book on Easter! This is so true all you said! There's no new life it seems without crisis! I have listened to the Hillsdale college free course in a Christmas Carol amd oh my word! How many more beauties the teacher brings up! I was blown away with delight in it! Have you written more since the other book? By the way, I grew up watching Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol and loving that one. The Muppets is cute too. In the course, he has some parts of one rendition I've not seem before but, wow, is so rich. We need a crisis to change, don't we? Tha k you for showing calm and bright are just small rests in our yearning to love him more, no matter what! And a merry Christmas and,God bless you, every one!!! Thank you Jesus for charging into our false peace to crisis, Christ us!!!
